Plans Approved to Build New Elementary School in Easton, Mass.

The Select Board in Easton, Mass., unanimously voted March 9 to award a $63.6 million contract to Brait Builders Corp. for the construction of the new Blanche Ames Elementary School after the firm was recommended by the local school planning committee. The new facility will serve as the regional pre-K through second grade building and be located at the Parkview School site....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
