Busy Roanoke, Va., Stretch of Roadway Now Set for Improvement

The Salem regional office of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced June 8 the state agency has awarded a $4.5 million contract for a road project to improve a section of VA Route 419 (Electric Road) near Tanglewood Mall on Roanoke's southeast side. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
