ITD Remembers 1995 Noseeum Creek Flooding on U.S.-12

When 400,000 tons of mud, rock, trees and other debris obliterated 1,200 ft. of highway on Nov. 20, 1995, it created "the biggest slide of my career," said Mark Schuster, maintenance foreman of U.S.-12 for the last three decades. "When I got the call from Kati, I'll admit I doubted her."
