Labor Department Issues Final Overtime Rule; Set to Go Into Effect Jan. 1, 2020

The U.S. Department of Labor announced a final rule Sept. 24 to make 1.3 million American workers eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
