First Pecos Road Traffic Moving Onto Loop 202 SMF Lanes

For the first time, motorists will use a stretch of the future Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway, in this case through a temporary configuration that will allow work to progress on the 17th Avenue and Desert Foothills Parkway interchanges in Ahwatukee. Effective Feb. 11, both directions of Pecos Road traffic between 17th Avenue and an area west of Desert Foothills Parkway began using a temporary alignment on the freeway's future eastbound lanes....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
