Quinoa Seeds Found at Construction Site Date Back to 900 BC

Researchers at the University of Toronto say they've uncovered a large quantity of quinoa seeds grown in North America thousands of years ago. They say the discovery marks the first time such seeds, a precursor to today's trendy superfood, have been found north of Kentucky. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
