State DOT Makes Major Commitment to Safety Certification Program

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has made a major commitment toward improving safety in and around the state's roadway construction work zones. The agency is the first in the nation to help hundreds of its employees earn the "Safety Certification for Transportation Project Professionals" (SCTPP) credential endorsed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
