Hersheypark, Knoebels, Area Roads Close After Historic Flooding

With rainfalls topping 7 to 11 inches over five days in central Pennsylvania, roads, bridges and local attractions have seen the effects of flash flooding. As of Thursday morning, the following roads were reported closed, according to PennLive: PA 443 eastbound between Exit US22/US322 West and Firehouse Road PA 443 in both directions between Mumma Road and Appleby Road PA 325 in both directions between Peters Mountain Road and Carsonville Road Manada Bottom Road in both directions between Moyer Road and Furnace Lane Route 39 eastbound between Allentown Boulevard and Park Boulevard and Hershey Park Drive Canal Street / Union Deposit Road in both directions between Hershey Road and Sandbeach Road Park Boulevard and Hershey Park Drive and Allentown Boulevard Route 743 in both directions between Laudermilch Road and Hersheypark Drive and Allentown Boulevard Check back here for updates on local road and bridge damage, and repair plans as they are announced....
