Construction Crews Unearth Rare Find On California Job Site

VALLEJO, Calif. (AP) Construction workers rebuilding a bridge in the San Francisco Bay area unexpectedly found two people living in a cave dug into an embankment, authorities said. Crews were excavating at the site of the old bridge in Vallejo when they heard voices and switched off their digging equipment, Tom Walker, the project manager of the city, told the San Francisco Chronicle....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
