Finish of Baton Rouge's $343M Anti-Flood Project Pushed to Late 2022

The Comite River Diversion Canal, a long-awaited flood-control channel for the Baton Rouge, La., area, is expected to take a year longer than anticipated to build and will not be finished until December 2022, federal officials have announced. The 12-mi.-long channel will divert water from the Comite River and other smaller waterways into the Mississippi River....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
