IDOT Announces Additional $300,000 in Funding for SIMMS

The city of Carbondale has announced that the Illinois Department of Transportation, Office of Intermodal Project Implementation (IDOT-OIPI), will provide an additional $300,000 in state funding for the Southern Illinois Multi-Modal Station (SIMMS) project. The additional funds boost IDOT's contribution to SIMMS to $2.8 million....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
