Work Could Begin Next Fall on Downtown Knoxville Ballpark

If all goes well, a new downtown Knoxville, Tenn., baseball park could begin construction next fall, said Tennessee Smokies owner Randy Boyd. The Smokies are a minor-league, Class AA franchise in the Southern League. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
