Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Project Gets OK to Begin Building

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has reached a milestone in the critical Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT) expansion project. The transportation agency issued a Notice to Proceed (NTP) in mid-September to Hampton Roads Connector Partners (HRCP) to begin building the HRBT project. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
