Crews Work to Finish Cog Railway Project at Pikes Peak

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Construction of a new cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak near Colorado Springs is halfway finished, and the popular tourist attraction is on track to open to the public next spring. Crews working on the Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway recently completed construction of the second of three sections of track that allow trains to pass each other, The Colorado Springs Gazette reported....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
