Cat D9 Lowers Owning, Operating Costs for Applications Worldwide

The new Cat D9 dozer replaces the D9T model and offers customizable configurations to meet application needs around the world. The new Cat D9 lowers overall costs per unit of material moved by up to 3 percent. Efficiencies gained through a new torque converter with stator clutch reduce fuel consumption by as much as 5 percent, and the new dozer reduces maintenance and repair costs by as much as 4 percent, according to the manufacturer....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
