Bay State Transportation Collective to Advance Transit, Reduce Costs

A new collective purchasing agreement for bus and bike lane road markings to help accelerate multimodal infrastructure was announced Sept. 2 by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). The agency's partners are the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), along with the city of Boston and 12 other municipalities in the metropolitan area....
