A massive new development is being proposed for downtown Birmingham, Ala., that would encompass 1.2 million sq. ft. and cost around a quarter of a billion dollars. The project, which is being called The Block, would have a centerpiece 48-story high rise development called the Dansby Tower. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
