PennDOT to Collect Wind Speed Data on Thruway Bridge over Susquehanna

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is preparing to start collecting wind speed data on the nearly mile-long Central Susquehanna Valley Thruway Bridge, now under construction. Temporary wind monitors are being installed on the bridge that, at its peak, is approximately 180 ft. over the west branch of the Susquehanna between Union and Northumberland counties....
