USACE Awards 2nd Contract for $2.75B Red River Diversion

FARGO, N.D. (AP) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded its second contract for a Red River diversion project around the flood-prone Fargo and Moorhead, Minn., metropolitan area. The Corps announced that the more than $59 million project to build a flow control structure on the Wild Rice River will be built by Ames Construction Inc., based out of Burnsville, Minn....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
