To meet the growing demand for housing, construction crews on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) are working to complete a new 231,000 sq. ft., U-shaped dormitory. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
