Dorado Construction Group Grew From 'Tiny' Beginning

In their younger years, Casey Poynor and Clay Butler started several of what they describe as "tiny" businesses. In its earliest form, that was the idea for Dorado Construction Group as well, but through the past eight years, the landscape has changed dramatically. "In November 2011, Clay and I were visiting with my uncle, who told us we should look into building secondary containment solutions around tank batteries and saltwater disposal units for oilfield companies," Casey recalled....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
