Massachusetts Authorizes $200M for City, Town Infrastructure

BOSTON (AP) Republican Gov. Charlie Baker has signed a bill providing $200 million to cities and towns for local infrastructure projects. The so-called Chapter 90 funds were given final approval by the Democratic-controlled Legislature in early June. Baker said in a statement that the state money is critical for cities and towns for highway construction, road paving and other projects....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
