Texas Transportation Commission OKs Funds for Airport Projects

The Texas Transportation Commission approved approximately $500,000 for the Hale County Airport. The funds will be used as reimbursement for the acquisition of a hangar. The project is being funded through the city of Plainview, Hale County and the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Aviation Facilities Grant Program, which preserves and improves the state's general aviation system, including the Hale County Airport....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
