Former Empire Southwest President John O. Whiteman Passes Away at 79

John O. Whiteman, former president and chairman of Empire Southwest Co., passed away on May 30, 2019 at age 79. He is survived by his wife Betty, son Jeff Whiteman (Holly), daughter Christy Wilson (Jim), son Eric Whiteman (Sarah), stepsons Stephen Taylor (Todd), Christopher Taylor (Jenny), 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and sister Jinx Patterson....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
