Crane, Bulldozer Partner to Set Cantilever Bridge

Cranes and bulldozers rule different realms: one, the air and the other, land. It's not every day they collaborate on setting a bridge, but they did just that for a temporary cantilever bridge in Aurora, N.C., earlier this year. The 125-ft. span is needed to maintain traffic flow on Route 33 over Campbell Creek while the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) replaces the permanent bridge....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
