Tornado Touches Down on McCourt & Sons Equipment

An EF-2 tornado touched down near La Grange, Texas, on May 3. One of the buildings destroyed belonged to McCourt & Sons Equipment Inc. Eamon McCourt, vice president of McCourt & Sons Equipment, said in an interview with KVUE, "I think it was a 30-foot tall building. Beams, metal, tin and then right behind that, the other side of this equipment, was our admin office that got blown away." The store's surveillance video showed the damage was done in just a few minutes....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
