New Construction Technique Makes Schools Safer in Hennessey, Okla.

To help keep Oklahomans safe, Hennessey Public Schools and South Industries have teamed up to construct a multipurpose school gymnasium and storm shelter in Hennessey, Okla. The choice to use a monolithic dome design was an easy one due to the inherent advantages of the dome shape. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
