Incoming Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly named Julie Lorenz to serve as interim secretary of the Kansas Department of Transportation on Jan. 10, according to news reports, while Jack Marchbanks is being tapped by Ohio Gov.-elect Mike DeWine as the Ohio Department of Transportation's new director. Lorenz previously spent eight years with the Kansas DOT as director of public affairs from 2003 until 2011....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
