Virginia Governor Taps VDOT To Lead 'Zero Death' Initiative

The Virginia Department of Transportation, along with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, Virginia State Police, and other state agencies, is being tasked to lead a statewide effort to join the Toward Zero Deaths or TZD movement, which includes a new website, www.TZDVA.org. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
