Amazon Plans $230M Operations Center in Nashville

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe recently announced that Amazon will invest more than $230 million to establish a new Operations Center of Excellence in downtown Nashville. As part of Amazon's investment, the company will create 5,000 high-paying jobs in Davidson County, representing the single largest jobs commitment made by a company in Tennessee's history....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
