On Walk to School Day at Gideon Elementary School Oct. 10, a city of Philadelphia designated community school, city officials and partners announced the release of the city's Strategic Transportation Plan, Connect. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
