Cuomo Tours Hudson River Tunnel in Push for Federal Funding

Gov. Andrew Cuomo toured the tunnel underneath the Hudson River the night of Oct. 17, in a push to get federal funding for the Gateway Project. The governor brought a camera crew along for the tour and said he plans to send the footage to President Donald Trump. As water dripped down the leaky tunnel's walls, forming puddles, the cameras captured disintegrating and missing concrete panels, corroding rebar and broken electrical cables....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
