Two Construction Workers Die After Fall Onsite

Two Florida construction workers were killed on the job Aug. 30. The workers were on the construction site of an Orlando hotel at around 4:15 in the morning, when the scaffolding they were working on between the sixth and seventh floors collapsed. The workers died on the scene, ABC News reported. Authorities said the scaffolding fell “for reasons unknown.” At the time of the incident, about 12 workers were on the site for a concrete pour, with four on the scaffolding....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
