After years of working out of a domestic violence shelter that did not provide the welcoming atmosphere ideal for those seeking temporary shelter, Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Choices for Victims of Domestic Violence officials decided to build a new, 46,000-sq.-ft. facility. With nearly ten acres of green space available for construction, it is estimated that the new shelter will more than double the number of people that can be accommodated....
