Bridge Strike Restricts Danekas Road Bridge to One Lane

Drivers of heavy vehicles who use the Danekas Road bridge to cross over Interstate 90 east of Ritzville will need to find an alternate route. Washington State Department of Transportation engineers reduced the bridge to one lane following damage from a bridge strike on July 10. New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
