Iowa Schools to Expand Programs

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) Council Bluffs Community School District is planning to expand its Career and Technical Education program and remodel industrial arts facilities at Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson high schools. The district will add electrical technology and plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration to its current offerings of automotive technology, welding and carpentry-construction technology, Superintendent Vickie Murillo told The Daily Nonpareil....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
