Equipment Industry Veteran J. Bruce Hitchcock Dies

J. Bruce Hitchcock, 80, passed away on June 24, 2017, at Jones Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born May 6, 1937, and was the fifth son of Dr. Raymond O. and Helen C. Hitchcock of Alfred, N.Y. Mr. Hitchcock is survived by his wife of 58 years, Zona (Pierce); daughter, Kim Gartner (Jim) of Dayton, Ohio; son, Bill Hitchcock (Sue) of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Jillian, Meron and Brian Gartner, Kayleigh (Trent) Lowery and Kristen (Jon) McAfee; brothers, Allan (Pat), Robert and James; sister-in-law, Carolyn and many nieces, nephews and cousins....

New York's MTA To Repair Train Tunnel Hit by Hurricane Sandy

In August, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will begin rehabilitation work on the Rutgers Tube New York City Transit subway tunnel that allows the F Line to run under the East River between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
