A new affordable housing project in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood has begun construction, one of several to break ground this summer in New York City's outer boroughs. Each are part of a public-private collaboration between the city and for-profit developers. Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
