Another Affordable Housing Project in New York City Started This Summer

A new affordable housing project in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood has begun construction, one of several to break ground this summer in New York City's outer boroughs. Each are part of a public-private collaboration between the city and for-profit developers. Atrium at Sumner is located on Marcus Garvey Boulevard between Park Avenue and Myrtle Avenue on the New York City Housing Authority's (NYCHA) Sumner Houses campus....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
