Richard Benck Passes Away at 91

Richard W. Benck, age 91 of Naperville, Ill., passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021, at his home. He was born at his home on the family farm on Nov. 17, 1929, in Grant Park, Ill., to Carl and Louise Benck. Mr. Benck's family did not have very much as he was growing up, but somehow, he overcame many obstacles that were put in his path....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
