TxDOT Praises Contractors for Emergency Response

The snowstorms and cold weather that gripped Texas in February was not easy for the state, but the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), along with contractors and subcontractors, worked overtime to keep the roads safe and protect motorists. Ryan LaFontaine, part of the TxDOT media relations team, described the situation that faced the Lone Star State and how it impacted road and bridge construction projects....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
