COVID Aid to Pay Off SCDOT's Debt May Lead to I-526 Widening

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is using approximately $140 million in federal COVID-19 aid to pay off debt and free up money for more interstate projects. It is currently unclear which projects will be the beneficiaries, though one could be the widening of Interstate 526 around the Charleston metro area....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
