New National Guard Facility in Presque Isle to Open in Spring

The new $18.3 million Maine National Guard building in Presque Isle will officially open this spring, according to a Guard spokesperson. Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on the Northern Maine Readiness Center, located on a 10-acre plot at 6 Edgemont Dr., and expect to complete the work in February....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
