Maine Horse Track to Become COVID-19 Vaccination Site

The owners of the former Scarborough Downs harness racing track are donating use of the facility's grandstand to MaineHealth so it can be converted into a high-volume COVID-19 vaccination site. MaineHealth announced the new site preparation in Scarborough on Jan. 21. It will be open to all eligible Maine residents, said Dora Mills, a hospital system doctor....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
