Louisiana DOT Replacing Bridges on Opposite Ends of State

Crews will soon get to work to replace a small road bridge in northwest Louisiana, while far to the southeast, between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, a temporary span across Bayou Chevreuil is already being built to carry traffic once efforts ramp up on a longer, wider bridge in 2022. Major Upgrade to Bossier Parish Span Access to the Linton Road bridge, over Black Bayou in Bossier Parish, will be blocked for cars and trucks in early 2021 as a full replacement effort by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) gets under way....

Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
