Construction Crews Complete Battery Street Tunnel Filling

The Battery Street Tunnel that drivers once used to travel between Aurora Avenue North and the Alaskan Way Viaduct was filled in late September. Construction crews began decommissioning the tunnel after the State Route 99 tunnel under Seattle opened in February 2019. Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
