Construction Crews Complete Battery Street Tunnel Filling

The Battery Street Tunnel that drivers once used to travel between Aurora Avenue North and the Alaskan Way Viaduct was filled in late September. Construction crews began decommissioning the tunnel after the State Route 99 tunnel under Seattle opened in February 2019. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
