Construction Crews Rebuilding Three Bridges on I-35

Crews from OHL USA Inc. started work on the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) $78.8 million I-35 from Stassney Lane to William Cannon Drive project to improve safety and mobility in south Austin in July 2016, and they are expected to deliver the new and updated structure this summer. The project is reconstructing the bridge structures at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive and the frontage road bridge over Williamson Creek, adding new U-turns at Stassney and William Cannon, widening 3.2 miles of mainlanes to incorporate shoulders and extended entrance/exit lanes, reconfiguring entrance and exit ramps, installing some drainage infrastructure, improving bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, and adding new safety and high mast lighting....
