Sen. Presses for Bulwark Against a Future Fracking Ban

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania said Nov. 8 that he is seeking passage of a measure that's squarely aimed at several Democratic presidential candidates and designed to prevent a president from banning hydraulic fracturing. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
