Ritchie Bros. Sells More Than $45M of Equipment in Houston, Texas

Ritchie Bros. sold more than 5,300 equipment items for more than $45 million at its latest Houston, Texas, auction on Aug. 20 to 21. More than 7,250 people registered to bid in the two-day auction, including more than 5,850 registering to participate online. United States' buyers purchased approximately 88 percent of the equipment, including 47 percent purchased by Texas buyers, while international buyers from such countries as Australia, Germany and Vietnam purchased 12 percent of the equipment....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
