A long-abandoned department store is undergoing a dramatic transformation in Birmingham, Ala. Once complete, the faded structure found at the intersection of Second Avenue North and 18th Street will house almost four dozen condominiums and be christened New Ideal Lofts. Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
