Construction Employment Rises By 4,000 In July, 202,000 Over The Past Year

Construction employment increased by 4,000 jobs in July and by 202,000, or 2.8 percent, over the past 12 months, while the number of unemployed jobseekers with construction experience rose, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
